The Whole Family Loves ‘Savoring Ethiopia’
5-star cookbook; highly recommended. I have made four different dishes from the book and all of them were fabulous and scrumptious. My kids were making noises while eating, and even the baby was gobbling down the food. They filled themselves until they were stuffed. This never happens. Other than keeping the extra hot spices like Berbere out of my dishes for my kids’ sake, I followed the recipes to the letter. I’m spreading a positive word about this book to people I know (even Ethiopians I know) and will be buying it as a Christmas gift this year.

An excellent cookbook! Many diverse recipes for dishes with comp!ex spices and flavors but presented in a way that is most accessible and do-able for non-Ethiopians. Most appreciated: the recipes for basic ingredients such as berbere and spiced butter. I am so excited as I love this cuisine and now I can start cooking! Thank you!

Well-crafted, delicious food that will impress any food lover
This is my second Ethiopian cookbook, and it’s definitely the better of the two. There’s a really wide range of recipes, most of which are authentic and some of which are just imaginative re-inventions. I love Ethiopian but moved to a place where it isn’t widely available. This book fills that empty space, and I know I will be using it again and again.
Great cookbook. Lots of really wonderful recipes. I liked that the recipes seemed simple enough to be done at home. Granted many of the spices are not available in ordinary groceries, but should be available in a store like Whole Foods.
I love experiencing different cultures. This is a nice cookbook to add to my collection. I have never had Ethiopian food but these recipes are Interesting and sound very delicious. I look forward to trying some of the recipes from this book.
